AlcoholAnswers.org is a NAABT,Inc. website. NAABT,Inc. was originally formed to educate the public about opioid addiction and the new effective treatments for it, specifically buprenorphine. Since its inception, the need for education on other addictive disorders has become clear to us and NAABT,Inc. is expanding to all addictions and evidence-based addiction treatments.
The National Alliance of Advocates for Buprenorphine Treatment is a non-profit organization charged with the mission to:
- Educate the public about the disease of addiction and evidence based treatments.
- Help reduce the stigma and discrimination associated with patients with addiction disorders.
- Serve as a conduit connecting patients in need of treatment to qualified treatment providers.
We incorporated as a non-profit corporation in Connecticut April 2005. We have 501(c)3 tax exempt status with the IRS as a charitable organization. Any donations are tax deductible for the year in which the donation was made.
Voluntary Disclosure:

NAABT, Inc. is solely responsible for all of its activities. We provide an online venue for patient peer support and are a source of educational information, plus a tool for helping patients connect with physicians.
We will strive to remain a nonbiased, reputable, and accurate source for those seeking information on evidence-based addiction treatments. Medications alone do not cure addiction, they only serve as tools and are to be used with a complete treatment plan including appropriate psychosocial care, family and peer support.
We at NAABT wish you and your loved ones the very best in treatment and in life. Let us know if we can help you further.
